Can I book just one bedroom instead of two?
Yes. Luna, Sol, Nova and Astra can each be used as a one-bedroom apartment. You'll have private use of the apartment and its living facilities, with one bedroom open and the second bedroom closed. No other guests will share the apartment with you. Choose one-bedroom use when enquiring about your dates.
How much does a stay at Wangs BnB cost?
Rates depend on your dates, the apartment and the accommodation option you choose. Send your preferred dates and number of guests through WhatsApp for a quote, including any applicable additional charges, before you confirm.
Is there CCTV, and how is guest privacy protected?
Yes. CCTV is used for safety in exterior areas only. Cameras are positioned outside the apartments and do not point towards the apartments or into their interiors. There are no CCTV cameras inside the apartments, so your indoor space remains private.
What are the check-in and checkout times?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM and checkout is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late checkout can be arranged directly with us.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. For reservations made directly with Wangs BnB, we offer free cancellation until 24 hours before your scheduled check-in, with a full refund of any accommodation payments made. If you don't arrive and haven't cancelled, the first night's charge will be retained. For reservations made through Airbnb or Booking.com, the cancellation terms shown in your booking confirmation apply.
Can I change my reservation dates?
Yes. For reservations made directly with Wangs BnB, you may request one date change without an administrative fee by notifying us at least 24 hours before check-in, subject to availability. If the new dates have a higher accommodation rate, you'll pay the difference. If the rate is lower, your booking total will be adjusted accordingly. Changes requested within 24 hours of check-in are considered on a case-by-case basis. For bookings made through Airbnb or Booking.com, the respective platform's change policies apply.
Can I check in late or leave luggage after checkout?
Yes. Late check-in and luggage storage after checkout are available at no extra charge, with no fixed time limit. Share your arrival time or luggage collection plans with us so we can arrange your welcome and handover.
What happens if the power or water goes off?
Solar backup powers the whole apartment during grid outages. A borehole provides a reliable water supply for showers, washing up and everyday use. If you notice a problem with either supply during your stay, let our team know so we can help.
Does an enquiry confirm a reservation?
No. An enquiry starts a conversation about your dates and number of guests. We'll confirm availability, rates and reservation details directly with you. A deposit of at least one night's accommodation secures your reservation. The remaining payment is agreed directly with us.
How many guests can this apartment accommodate?
Nova accommodates up to 5 guests. The main bedroom has a queen bed. The living room includes a sofa bed for the fifth guest. Tell us your group size and bedroom option when enquiring so we can advise on the arrangement.
Does the apartment have a fully equipped kitchen?
Yes. Nova has a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, kettle, cooking pots (sufurias), plates, cups, drinking glasses, wine glasses, serving spoons and a wooden cooking spoon (mwiko). Sugar, coffee, tea bags and cooking oil are provided.
Is there hot water in the bathroom?
Yes. Solar-heated hot water is available for your stay at Wangs BnB.
Are children welcome?
Yes. Wangs BnB is child-friendly. Please include children in your guest count when enquiring.
Are visitors or parties allowed?
Visitors are welcome, but parties are not permitted.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. Please use the designated smoking areas.
Are towels and bedding included?
Towels and bedding are included and changed between guests. For longer stays, changes are available on request.
How do I access the apartment when arriving?
A member of our team welcomes you on arrival and hands over your key card. Apartments use keycard locks.
